Overview
Children will immerse themselves as Smudge and help him as he gets stuck in this great story by Julie Sykes.
The learners will start with a specific warm up linked to the story, with the children taking part in fun games that you would play in your back garden.
They’ll then have to ‘Race Back To The House’ because of the rain in a fun activity that can be played in teams.
Another team building exercise comes next in this action packed session, with the learners having to work together to ‘Build a Tower’ as the animals try and get through the window in the story.
After this, the children have to ‘Follow Bounce Back To The Hut’ in a game focusing on close dribbling in and out of cones.
Smudge then sees a ‘Cat Flap’, so the young Kickstarters have to dribble their football and find the different cat flaps around the square and finally they will play some 1v1 matches in the activity ‘Take Smudge Out Of The Window’
