The Little Red Hen

Overview

Children will immerse themselves as Little Red Red Hen and take her on her journey in a book full of fun activities linked to the story.

Firstly, the participants get warmed up with lots of different exercises, as questions are asked around the story and predictions are made about what the book might be about.

They take part in the game ‘I spy’, just like in the story and then go planting some corn by taking Little Red Hen to the field. The learners then ‘Cut The Corn’ and also ‘Bake The Bread’ in two fun activities linked to keeping their ball close to them.

To finish, the learners have to keep their ‘bread’ close to them and run away from the three animals, who want to steal it!
